Mini Bagel Pizzas with Bell Pepper Sprinkles
Quick little bagel pizzas topped with marinara, melty mozzarella, and bright bell pepper sprinkles. A fun, hands-on lunch toddlers love to help build.
Ingredients
- 2 each bagel, whole grain, halved
- 80 ml marinara sauce, low-sodium if possible5.41 tbsp marinara sauce, low-sodium if possible
- 120 ml mozzarella cheese, shredded8.12 tbsp mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 60 ml bell pepper, finely chopped4.06 tbsp bell pepper, finely chopped
Steps
- Heat the oven to 425F (220C) and line a baking sheet with foil for easy cleanup.
- Slice each bagel in half and place the halves cut side up on the baking sheet.
- Spread the marinara sauce over each bagel half, all the way to the edges.
- Top each half with shredded mozzarella, about 2 tablespoons per piece.
- Finely chop the bell pepper and sprinkle it evenly over the cheese.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let the pizzas cool until just warm, then cut into bite-size pieces and serve.
