  • 226.8 g pasta8 oz pasta
  • 45 ml butter3.04 tbsp butter
  • 120 ml milk8.12 tbsp milk
  • 113.4 g cheddar cheese, shredded4 oz cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 80 ml greek yogurt5.41 tbsp greek yogurt
  • 140 g chicken breast, cooked and finely shredded4.94 oz chicken breast, cooked and finely shredded
  • salt (to taste), for over-1s and adults
  • pepper (to taste), for over-1s and adults

Steps

Cook the Pasta

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil, add the pasta, and cook until just tender following the package timing.
  2. Drain the pasta well and set it aside while you make the sauce.

Make the Cheese Sauce

  1. In the same pot over low heat, melt the butter gently so it does not brown.
  2. Pour in the milk and add the shredded cheddar, whisking until the cheese melts into a smooth sauce, about 1 to 2 minutes.

Combine and Serve

  1. Add the cooked pasta, Greek yogurt, and shredded chicken to the cheese sauce and stir gently until everything is coated.
  2. Spoon into bowls and serve warm. For over-1s and adults, add a pinch of salt and pepper to taste at the end.

12-18mo

Cook the pasta until very soft and stir in the chicken finely shredded. Cut larger pasta shapes into small bite-size pieces and skip any added salt.
