Steps

Warm the Curry

Cook the Noodles

  1. Bring a small pot of water to a boil and add the ramen noodles, holding back the seasoning packet for now.
  2. Once the noodles soften, gently loosen them with chopsticks and cook until tender, following the package time.
  3. Drain the noodles well and place them in a serving bowl.

Assemble

  1. Spoon the warm curry over the noodles and serve right away while everything is hot.
  2. Optional: for over-1s and adults, stir in a little of the seasoning packet or a pinch of salt to taste for a stronger flavor.

Skip the seasoning packet entirely and use a small portion of mild, low-sodium curry. Cut the noodles into short pieces and serve with a little extra cooking water to keep them soft.

Choking safety: Long noodles can be a choking risk. Cut them into short, manageable lengths and serve soft.

2-3y

Use mild curry and leave out the seasoning packet to keep sodium low. Snip the noodles shorter and let the bowl cool to warm before serving.

3-5y

Serve a smaller bowl of mild curry over noodles. Add only a tiny amount of seasoning if needed, and check the curry is not too spicy for your child.
