Gomaae
Blanched spinach tossed in a creamy sesame sauce with soy sauce and a touch of sugar. A classic Japanese side dish that is simple and flavorful.

Ingredients
- 100 g spinach
- 3 tbsp white sesame
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1 pinch salt
Steps
- Pour water into a pot and bring to a boil.
- Grind the white sesame. Then, add the sugar, soy sauce, and salt.
- Cut cross the root of each spinach. Blanch the spinach for 1.5 minutes.
- Take out the spinach from the pot and shock in ice water. Lightly squeeze out the excess water with using hands. Then, cut around 5 cm lengths.
- Add the spinach with sesame sauce and mix all of them gently with using chopsticks.
- Decorate on the serving dish.
