Teriyaki Glazed Salmon

- 2 piece salmon fillet
- low-sodium teriyaki sauce
Steps
- Prepare the teriyaki sauce. You can make this in advance. If so, be sure to reheat in a saucepan as it will congeal upon refrigeration.
- Heat pan or skillet over medium heat. Add oil and pan sear salmon (skin side down), pressing down firmly with spatula for about 3-4 minutes or until salmon filets are opaque halfway up the sides.
- Add the teriyaki sauce on top. You can control the amount. Lower the heat to medium-low, cover the pan to steam the salmon for 10 minutes. This will make it moist and perfectly cooked.
- Remove from heat and drizzle with more sauce, if desired.
